First round of Champions League Qualification. Moldavian side Sheriff Tiraspol will play at Erevan against Pyunik. The home side seems to be the favourite but I'll go with the visitors here. Both armenian and moldavian leagues are very poor but I see Sheriff a little stronger. They are the champions for the last 5 years in Moldova due to a good financial position. They have a 40 million$ arena and one of the best training conditions.
Sheriff is the only moldavian team that plays fast and agressive,well organized in defence with impressive tactics.
Their squad is made by some old expierenced players combined with young and talented players,like Razvan Cocis,the romanian international-one of the best young romanian players with a very promissing future.Some top european teams were looking for him,I don't know how much can Sheriff keep him at Tiraspol.
Truly I don't know very much about Pyunik but usually moldavian teams always managed to eliminate armenian teams.I don't think something will change this year,especially now when Sheriff is playing at their best level.They started the new moldavian championship with 2 wins to nil(2-0 and 4-0).
Certainly Sheriff will proceed in the next round where will play Spartak Moscow.But becouse they play on the road I will safely take the double chance option-Sheriff not to lose.
