Soccer, Friendly Match, Pick on 5.9.2006: Brazil vs. Wales

Filed under: English version, Picks — mato at 12:48 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2006

I was'nt able to get that much information on this match but we'll see what we can talk about. Brazil thumped Argentina at Emirates Stadium 3 days ago, will they do the same to the Welsh? I think a couple of key factors came into that match against Argentina, the Brazilian's falling out of the world cup before the final was probaly a very big factor in that win. All talk leading into the world cup was all Brazil, Brazil, Brazil, Argentina was not even thought of,but half way through the tournament all eye's turned to Argentina as they were outstanding and Brazil looked average at best.
I'll say that the Brazilian's took the match against Argentina as a chance to redeem themselves and went onto the pitch looking to show that they are still the South American master's and I think they did that.

Wale's on the other hand really looked quite good against the Czech Republic the other day.
They seemed very tight at the back and their getting the ball up to their midfielder's and striker's seemed quite good, however their actual putting the ball into the net was not.But with the like's of Bellamy and Giggs up front sooner or later they will hit the target you would think.

I see that Ronaldinho is to play tonight that to could be a plus for Wales as I really thought he slowed the Brazilian's attack at times during the world cup.

It's very hard to go against Brazil and i'm not but I think it could be alot closer than what most people seem to be saying.
Brazil had something to prove the oyher day against Argentina and now that they have done that I think they might take Wales a bit to lighty.
Wale's might not have the speed, strength or ball skills of the Brazilian's but the one think they do have is the fact that they are playing Brazil and no one is giving them a hope of doing anything in this match.
I think friendly or not to play Brazil is one of the Pinnacle's of world sport and I would think Wale's would want to have a good dig and try and show everyone something.
If Wales can even get within 1 goal of the mighty Brazilian's that would be a fantastic result for them, and that's what I think they will do tonight.

Soccer, Euro 2008 Qualification, Pick on 6.9.2006: Albania vs. Romania

Filed under: English version, Picks — mato at 12:47 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2006

I posted this pick a bit early simply because i feel that as the match is closer the odds will go down. Romania as some of you know took only 1 point in the match against Bulgaria after they had a 2 goals lead. They received two goals in one minute from Petrov.Till that moment, Romania played very well and controled the game.I think that they wil be able to do more than the draw with Bulgaria and take all 3 pct. in Albania. If we were to compare the two teams, we would see that Romania was a much better team than Albania.

In the match agaisnt Belarus, Albania also made a draw. But it was a draw that came in the last 5 minutes.Albania proved to be a team that are very good on the counter-attack.They have to very tall forward that can put in danger the romanian goal.
But one after another Romania knows that if they don't win here their european 2008 dreams are over, so i can't see anything else but a Romania victory here.
My advice for you is to hurry, because the oods are going down. Most bookmakers have it at 1.55, but interwetten still has it at 1.8.
